Following up on my previous blog (my share to Facebook was rejected as abusive – please let me know if it was because I can’t understand how such a benign post could be reported as abusive as Facebook claimed), I was at a Samsung’s official outlet in Abuja, Nigeria, on 17th September 2016, and there I confirmed that they had withdrawn the Note 7 from sales for now, but there are not yet any returns from customers who had already bought Note 7s, in order words, there is still no clear approach to resolving the issue yet, at least, in Abuja and neighboring cities. Incidentally, the sales person I spoke to was quick to confirm that those who bought theirs in Dubai, UAE  have had theirs recalled. Samsung is too smart to take the Nigerian Market for granted but, there’s certainly a communication failure at the least.
